Can Wikipedia predict the future?

More accurately, is Wikipedia written by members of the Eternity?

I ask because History told in real-time is quite unusual and I confess it looks kind of weird. Ever heard of Grigori Perelman? According to his Wikipedia bio, on August 22nd 2006, the guy was awarded a Fields Medal (also known in the mass media as Nobel Prize of Mathematics).

So what? Er... August 22nd, 2006. Today! And no, it's not a typo: Just check the headlines of your favorite news site.

On a totally unrelated yet somewhat historical note, August 22nd 1998 was a rainy Saturday in Belgium. Laïlla Schriewer said Oui (I do) to Serge Wautier. Happy anniversary My Love!
